I currently have an B.Sc. in Physics (Honors), and am halfway through completing a B.Ed. after-degree program (in Alberta, Canada). In terms of what someone is certified to teach, I believe alberta requires at least 30 credits (i.e. 10 courses) in the major teaching area, and at least 9 credits (3 courses) in the minor [...]

my question is do you think education in canada should be run by the federal government rather than provincial? or do u like it the way it currently is? long story short, i moved from alberta to saskatchewan and they count their credits differently and their math is split up differently which really messes up [...]

I’m in eleventh grade and live in Alberta and am thinking about going into education after I finish high school. My parents want me to got to school either here or in British Columbia.
